Why ChatGPT is Coming for Your Health Data too
Recetly OpenAI announced a new section in their AI platform called ChatGPT Health. It is a specialized area that allows users to view their medical records through apps like Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, and Peloton.
The company says that with 40 million people already asking health questions on ChatGPT daily, this new feature has a more grounded AI that draws from your actual history rather than just generic information.

They say that the development of ChatGPT Health took over two years and involved more than 260 physicians, ensuring it provides clear and safe support. They also emphasize that the tools are meant to assist, not replace, clinical care.
OpenAI says that the data in this dataset is not used to train OpenAIβs foundation models, and that the data storage also has top-of-standard encryption, purpose-built isolation, and other encryption layers.
Would you feel comfortable giving AI your health data? Do you think that ChaGPT Health will be a popular model to use? Let us know in the comments!
