Samsung and Erwan Bouroullec Partner to Make Speakers with a Gallery-Inspired Design

Samsung has recently been giving us looks at what they are going to show off a CES 2026, and now they showed us some cool speakers that they partnered with designer Erwan Bouroullec.

To start with, they unveiled the flagship HW-Q990H that sets a new bar for home theaters with an 11.1.4-inch channel system and Sound Elevation technology, which uses AI to lift voices to the center of the screen so it feels like the actors are speaking directly to you! Also, Auto Vluome stops those annoying loud commercials.

Another speaker, Samsung unveiled the All-in-One HW-QS90H, which the ocmh says is perfect for clean spaces. It has a 7.1.2-channel bar with a Covetable Fit design whichter you either mounts it ot puts it on as a stand, a built-in gyrp senso dectecs the angle and will automatically re-tune its sound. Unlike older models, the QS90H packs a Quad Bass Woofer under the bar itself, giving deep, punchy sound without the need for a separate subwoofer box on the floor.

Erwan Bouroullec designed the speakers with what they call a “timeless dot” aesthetic that looks more like a sculpture than a standard tech speaker, but I still like the IKEA speakers and lights better on the design front.

The Msic Studio 7 is a powerhouse, with a 3.1.1-channel spatial setup with a tweeter that hits frequencies up to 35kHz, capturing the tiny musical detail that regular speakers miss.

The Music Studio 5 is a more compact, interior-dedicated version of the Music Studio 7, but both speakers use AI Dynamic Bass Control to keep the low end deep and clean, and they can also be used alone or paired with a TV.

IN 2026, Smaung will allow you to finally pair up to five different devices, like a sound bar, two Music Studio speakers, and two Sound Towers, with your Smaung TV at the same time to create what they call a wall of sound. This system uses SpaceFit Sound Pro to listen to your room’s layout and automatically figure out where each speaker is placed to adjust the audio so consumers can get clean dialogue and amazing surround sound without moving a single piece of their furniture.

All of these new speakers and features are managed through the SmartThings app, which acts kind of like a hub for grouping speakers, streaming high-res, or even using voice assistants to set the mood for a party or movie night.

Do the new Music Studio speakers look more like art or tech to yout? Would they better fit next to your TV or next to your Bookshelf? What do you think of the timeless design on the speakers? Let us know in the comments!
