Xiaomi 15T Series and Tablets Launch

Xiaomi just had an event in Munich, Germany, where they unveiled the Xiaomi 15T, 15T Pro, REDMI Pad Peo, and Xiaomi Pad Mini. All of these products had an emphasis on imaging, performance, and connectivity.

Leica Partnership and Camera Upgrades

Xiaomi and Leica have had a partnership for over 3 years, and in this year’s 15T Pro, they added some amazing features like Leica 5x Pro telephoto, the Light Fusion 900 sensor, 20x Ultra Zoom, and the ability to record video in 4K 120fps. All of these new advanced features will help position the new 15T Pro as a mobile photography powerhouse.

Xiaomi 15T Camera Features

The Xiaomi 15T also gets some cool camera features like a Light Fusion 800 sensor, versatile focal lengths, a 32MP front camera, an AISP 2.0 engine, Master Portrait, and the Leica Street mode.

New Connectivity

The new T Series also gets device-to-device offline messaging up to 1.2mi, the Surge T1S tuner, and a Super Atenna Array. All of these features help in emergencies, remote areas, and crowded places.

HyperOS 3 Software

This event not only showed off Xiaomi’s new products, but it also showed off the next generation of HyperOS. It’s called HyperOS 3 and has a redesigned interface, multitasking improvements, HyperAI integration for cross-device workflows, and AI-powered content inspiration.

Display Technology

The display technology on the new T Series Phone is a 6.83” AMOLED panel that has a 3200 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. The Pro also gets a 144Hz refresh rate and a LIPO ultra-thin bezel screen. The Standard model gets a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming.

Performance and Battery

The 15T Pro gets a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ 3nm chip, 5500mAh of battery capacity, 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and a 3D IceLoop thermal system. The standard 15T gets a Dimesity 8400-Ultra chip, the same 5500mAh battery, 67W wired charging, and the same 3D IceLoop thermal system.

REDMI Pad 2 Pro Series

The new REDMI Pad 2 Pro Series gets a 12.1” 2.5K 120HZ display, with Dolby Vision and quad speakers. The REDMMI pad 2 PRo Series also gets a huge 12,00mAh battery and comes in a Matte Glass and 5G version.

Xiaomi Pad Mini

The Xiaomi Pad Mini gets an 8.8” 3K 165Hz display, with a compact form factor. It also has a Dimensity 9400+ chip with HyperAI features, Dual USB-C ports, and a 7500mAh battery. The target of this tablet is to be portable, productive, and entertaining.

Pricing

The 15T will start at $699, the 15T Pro at $859, the REDMI Pad 2 Pro at $325, and lastly, the Pad Mini will start at $459.
