We finally got an update to the 2022 Apple Watch SE 2, and its called the Apple Watch SE 3. It is positioned as an affordable option of the Apple Watch, that doesn’t have compromises in speed or features.

Design

The design of the SE 3 is as lightweight as before, but it is still available in two sizes. The watch also gets better water-resistance, a durable build. Ir also has a focus on value, with this new model.

Performance

The SE 3 is now powered with the same chip as the Series 9, the S9 chip, which makes it faster and smoother. The SE 3 will also now support on-device Siri requests, like health questions.

Features

It gets the normal heart rate tracking, sleep, and cycle tracking, but it also gets some amazing features like Fall Detection, Emergency SOS. It doesn’t have advanced sensors like blood oxygen or ECG, to just keep it simple.

The SE 3 starts at $249 for the 40mm model and $279 for the 44mm version. You can pre-order them today, and they will ship the 19th of September.
