Duocon 2025: new products, features, and integration.

Duolingo just hosted a live event that showed off new products, features, and a new integration with LinkedIn. You can watch the full event here:

New Products and features

A lot of the event focused on the features they had already rolled out, and how they were helping others to learn new things, so there were not many new features for me to write about.

Chess

This was my favorite part of the keynote, and they talked about how Duolingo Chess would be coming to Android. Which should help more people get into the game that has been around for over 1,000 years! Duolingo also shared that in the future they will add support for player to player matches in chess.

Products

New products on the Duolingo Store include, a new chess set, a new notebook that looks like you can track your streak in and do the normal writing stuff, and lastly a new Duolingo plushie with sparkly eyes.

Other products were showed in the video, but they have already been announced and you can buy them right now.

Integration

Duolingo also announced a huge partnership with the job platform LinkedIn, that will allow you today to connect your Duolingo account and LinkedIn account, so people can see what languages you know, and your score in them.
