Google Labs CC: a Product That aims to Help With Your Messy calendar

Google Labs has come out with a lot of innovative products, and recently, they released an AI productivity agent called CC that is powered by Gemini.

CC syncs with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and the web to create a morning brief called Your Day Ahead delivered directly to the user’s inbox. It uses multiple sources to create one clear summary of schedules, upcoming appointments, and tasks. It can also prep for things like generating email drafts for pending replies or creating calendar links to save time on scheduling. It is meant to help with the mental load of checking multiple apps to figure out what needs to be done next. Which is a good idea, because that is sometimes annoying or stressful.

Users can steer their agent by simply replying to its emails or sending custom requests. They can also tell CC to remember specific ideas or teach it their personal preference to refine its future briefings.

CC is still a Labs experiment in its early stages, meaning its reliability and features are based on user feedback. You can sign up for the waitlist right now, but remember, it is not a chatbot; it’s more like an assistant.

Do you think you would like getting a morning brief every morning? Would CC actually be useful to you? Let us know in the comments!
