WatchOS 26

The all new WatchOS 26 beta is here and here are the compatible devices, and new features! To sign up for the beta you just do what the iOS 26 article says, and you should be ready to go if you have either an Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 10, or the Apple Watch SE Second Generation.

Now the features. With WatchOS 26 the whole watch gets a new design called Liquid Glass, and as in the name the system has a glass and liquidly interface. There is a cool new feature like Double Tap, called Wrist Flick, that at a flick of the wrist silences notifications, calls, and does many other things! You can finally customize Control Center with the apps you want easy access to! Automatic Volume Adjustment will change the volume of incoming notifications depending of the volume of the room or place you are at. Lastly, Smart Stack offers hints based on what’s immediately useful.

Now the refreshed and new apps. Messages gets Live Translate on the watch, backgrounds for all chats, and suggested smart actions will appear based on the context of you messages.

The workout app has a totally new design, and if you run with an iPhone you can use Workout Buddy, which gives audible motivation based on you fitness history. If you start a workout it will now suggest a playlist or podcast to play.

Notes finally comes to the watch and you can either see a previous note, or create a new note. You can even ask Siri to make a new note, while your on the go.
