Now here are the new features you get in Mac OS 26! The all new design is called Liquid Glass, and as in the name, everything has a glassy, and liquidly design. As Apple describes it, “Liquid Glass refracts and reflects content in real time, bringing even more clarity to navigation and controls and even more vitality to everything you do.”

Apps get new features, and here are a few! In messages you get Live Translation for easy talking to others who speak a different language then you, polls in chats to ask what people want or like, and backgrounds for all chats!

The Journal app comes to the Mac. For creating beautiful and memorable moments into a journal entry’s, for easy access to memories in the future!

The Phone app also finally comes to the Mac with some cool features, like Hold Assist that will hold you spot on costumer service, so you can do other things on your Mac. And Call Screening that will pick up a unknown number and ask what they would like, then tell you the information so you can choose to pick up or not.

Another new app is the Games app. It’s a place like the Game Center app, for seeing your achievements, making challenges with friends, and launching apps!

Apple Intelligence helps in Reminders to suggest tasks, groceries, and follow-ups from emails or text on your Mac. It also groups related reminders into sections in a list.

Shortcuts is super charged, with Apple Intelligence, to create personal shortcuts!

Other powerful features are, Spotlight lets you do many tasks without lifting you fingers form the keyboard and new quick keys make tasks even faster. If you connect a camera, you can use it to zoom in on things with magnifier! Live Activities are on the Mac now!

Lastly, the Apple Ecosystem is getting even better with Mac and iPhone! With Apps that used to only work on the iPhone, now streaming through the iPhone, so you can now use them on the Mac!
