AI is coming to this years NFL season

Microsoft just extended a multi year deal with NFL, to have their AI and Surface tablets in the upcoming leagues. Microsoft technology’s like Copilot and Azure AI will help teams level up their sideline evaluation and workflows, find new talent, and make operations more smooth in and out of the stadium.

“We are entering a new era of innovation at the NFL through our collaboration with Microsoft to deploy AI across key areas of the business,” said CIO of the NFL, Gary Brantley. “Enhancing the league is a responsibility we take seriously, and Microsoft has been a trusted sideline technology partner for over a decade. With Microsoft’s AI technologies, including Copilot, there are tremendous opportunities to elevate the game day experience for our clubs and deliver an even more compelling product to our fans.”

Along with this deal extension, they announced that all the Sideline Viewing Systems for the teams will be over 2,500 Surface Copilot Plus PCs connected to each other (complete with massive Copilot logos on the case carrying strap).
