Places you can’t take pictures!

I didn’t know this until recently, but did you know that some places will now allow you to take pictures.

Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video all don’t allow you to take a screen shot of the show or movie your watching, under the Digital Rights Management protections. If you try you’ll be met with a black screen or error message.

Photos of The Eiffel Tower at night are illegal, because the lighting display that comes on is technically copyrighted!

In Germany you can’t take 360 degree photos, and post them online. That’t why Google Maps blurs a lot of the houses in Street View mode there.

And lastly if you’re at a security check point or customs in an airport, you can’t take pictures for security reasons.

There are many other places you can’t take pictures, so think before you snap!
