Search

When you want to search something, you want it to be easy and sometimes a little fun. With the Google search app, it has all those features and more. Why it is this weeks recommendation, is because almost every time I use it I like it a little more.

Strengths

It has some great strengths, like how it has fast and reliable results, and now in the app they added an ai mode that is even more that just the ai Overview. It also has an interface that resembles a chatbot experience.

Another feature that I love is how you can search songs directly in the app by just humming or singing a song. This feature works really good, and I would recommend you try it.

When you open the app it has a personalized Discover feed. I even learn some things directly from there, because it knows what I like.

For other great features there’s the offline search capabilities, multilingual support, and many more that are hidden all over. All of the app also integrates really well with all of Google’s services.

Weaknesses

There are also some not good things about the Google Search app and some of them include some Privacy concerns, data collection, too many ads in results, and sometimes it is heavy on battery and data.

Improvements

Some areas that Google could improve their app is by adding more privacy control options, fewer or better ads, a less powerful version for low-data or older phones, a more customizable Discover area, and stronger offline search options.

I would recommend this app to people who want quick and smart searching. I personally use this app a lot.
